If you go to Dawson's City (not Dawson's Creek) in Yukon, Canada, maybe you want to try this drink. It is actually an alcoholic drink that contains an alcoholic preserved human toe. You don't have to eat it nor swallow it. You will get a certificate in the end. Nowadays everything comes in certificates - you can get one if you attend a conference but sleep all the time. The golden rule of this SourToe Cocktail is 'You can drink it fast, you can drink it slow. But the lips have to touch the toe.'
This tradition started in 1973, with what is said to be the toe of a miner, which had been amputated in the 1920's.
So where to try this? Sourdough Saloon at the Downtown Hotel. The current price is C$10. But watching others trying it is of course FREE.
So dare you try?
